This was AD6DM’s first foray into building a small battery pack. The soldering job was horrendous, due to learning how to solder.
This battery’s goal was learning and the goal of powering both QRP (<= 10 watt) and QRO (up to 100 watt) radios. I also wanted at-a-glance voltage readings, so it incorporated a LED volt meter. All batteries made by DenCo use Anderson Powerpole connectors since hams like that kind of 12v connector. The main wires are 12 AWG with 200°C insulation.
